Get In The Habit of...

We all have habits or things we do unconsciously. A majority of the things we do daily are done habitually. Most of what we do we don't even think about.

Unfortunately, many habits that we have don't serve us, and when we try to break them we go about it the wrong way.

When breaking a bad habit, you cannot simply break the bad habit. You must replace it with a good habit. Don't forget breaking/replacing habits takes time. On average it takes about 21 days (3 weeks) to form a new habit or break an old one. Don't give up on yourself if it gets too hard. Just keep going and be consistent, and you'll see results eventually.

Challenge:

Since it takes 3 weeks to break a habit, which is pretty close to a month, why not break one bad habit a month and replace it with a new one. I'm going easy on you because I'm even giving you a week off since most months have about 4 weeks in them. By the end of the year, you'll have 12 new good habits that will serve you in ways you never thought of!

Have you ever heard the saying, think about what you're thinking about? Well, I want to challenge you to also think about your habits. Even this has to become a habit, but it's a habit that comes in handy.
