Purpose: To Put Purpose In You

My purpose in starting Leave Ur Marks is honestly to earn extra cash as a teenager, but this isn't purely out of selfish ambition because I love doing things that also impact others and help them to recognize their purpose in life.
Leave Ur Marks sells Christian all sorts of clothing that will hopefully inspire you to live the life that God wants you to live, cheer you up, or give you a desire to understand God's Word better. I am in no way promoting the idea that if you follow God or follow the messages on these shirts perfectly that your life will be problem free, because that is taught nowhere in the Bible, but I am promoting the idea that if you do what is hard, and follow God, then you will have a happier, easier, and more peaceful life than most people.
Many people do not understand that there are many things considered or labeled "Christian" in our world that, in reality, conflict with the Word of God. In addition, many tidbits of info in the Bible are often take out of context (which is key), misinterpreted, paraphrased, left out, or added, when God clearly states in Proverbs 30:6, "Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar." This is also restated in many forms and fashions at least 7 other times throughout the Bible. This is one reason why I am selling shirts with Bible verses on them.
I want to encourage you to study the Bible regularly for yourself. While we were created to serve God in the presence of others, getting to heaven is individual, and you will not get to heaven based on what your pastor or preacher said. You need others, and you should study with others, but it's even more imperative that you learn for yourself, because others' teachings could be completely non Biblical. We are called to watch out for false teachers. In 2 Timothy 2:15, God also calls us to "Do [our] best to present [ourselves] to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."
Regarding the slight paraphrasing of the Bible verses on the t-shirts, this may seem a little controversial, but I assure you I am doing my best to take nothing out of context. If a verse seems to not make sense or seems to enter into gray areas without the surrounding context, I will not put it on the t-shirt. I am only doing this for spacial reasons, but always remember that the scripture is listed on the shirt, so you can always double check just to make sure for yourself that I have taken nothing out of context.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and I hope you will purchase something from LUMs that will bless you and those around you!
